Pantry’s Best, Jing’An

INFO

Offering more than the standard food-court bakery, Pantry’s Best at Jing’an Joinbuy City Plaza follows a similar theme to the cupcake store’s previous designs, with tactile surfaces and a welcoming tree sculpture.

In reference to the brand’s cute bird symbol, Lukstudio decided to give it a home in the new store design. Curving wooden panels are positioned in layers, reminiscent also of the swirls atop a cupcake, and set above a large tree trunk in the background.

These wooden tubes also frame the main counter, where they become like a linear ‘ground’ for the tree. At one end, the organic-looking ‘tree stumps’ pop up through the counter, creating the perfect posse for delicate cupcakes to stand proudly on display.
